In order to know about the actual situation of contemporary college students' English learning, solve the difficulties in students' English application process and English exams, help students to improve their actual English ability and English testing ability. On the evening of November 4th, the self-study time was hosted by the IELTS English Teaching and Research Program of IHD college, and the “IELTS Teaching and Research Program's First English Training Workshop Activity” with the participation of learning activists was successfully held in Room 309, J3 Teaching Building of our school.
At the beginning of this training, we clarified the key points in English learning for everyone. Teachers and students actively exchanged effective methods in their English learning, and at the same time discussed solutions to prominent problems in English learning. By encouraging everyone to set goals and study harder, students will be more aware of the important impact of current English learning on their academics and career. Finally, let the students “early taste” the classic questions in the College English Test Band 4 and the IELTS exam, and establish a firm foundation for subsequent training.
In this training and learning, the teachers taught meticulously and clearly. Then, Teachers Tianyi Li and Yongshun Zhu also asked everyone to put forward suggestions for follow-up training to achieve timely adjustment and self-supervision. The goal of this activity is to learn from each other. The teachers and students have gained a lot, and the activity finally ended with applause.
